Once you have joined the boards, you will notice that you can read the messages, but you will NOT be able to post.
Due to multiple posts by new members (not likely Dgate players) containing web links that set off viruses, we have enabled a procedure designed to prevent disruption from those outside of our community.
This step disables anyone from creating a new account and posting immediately without prior approval from our administration.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause players as they must wait a day or two to be able to post with a new account.
We felt it a necessary step to safeguard our community from virus attacks.
To set up an account please ....
Step 1 - You will need to REGISTER a screen name with these boards.
Step 2 - Once you have registered and been approved, to be able to post in our open group ...
* Click the small Usergroups link at the top of any page.
* Choose the group 'Dragon's Gate Players' from the Join a Group dropdown list shown, and click View Information.
* This will take you to the Group Control Panel.
* Click Join Group to request membership in the group.
* The Group Moderator will receive an email informing them of the request, which they must approve before you become a member of the group.
Step 3 - Send an email to the Elder Board Host or Lead GM in which you give the name of your active character in Dragon's Gate and your phpBB message board account name you have chosen. This will insure that only Dgate players are posting. Anyone that does not send the email will be removed from the privilage of posting.
